We want some very specific abilities here. This gives us all of the Armorer subclass features, 7 infusions (with the Armor Modifications feature), and Magic Item Savant for 5 attunement slots and being able to attune to and use any item, which opens up some possibilities, while also granting us up to 7th-level slots, a spellbook, and innate access to Wizard spells up to 3rd level. In my opinion, we want the maximum amount of Artificer levels while maintaining 7th-level slots this in mind means we should have 15 levels Artificer, and 5 levels Wizard, probably Chronurgy to represent his dabbling in time travel. This leads us to a Wizard/Artificer multiclass, granting him advanced magical capability, and the benefits of Artificer levels, such as Infusions, but what split? Spells like Contingency are also deeply flavorful for him anyways, so overall it seems thematically correct. His ability to create Doombots, which are basically robotic body doubles of him, complete with AI that makes them believe they are the real Doctor Doom, leads me to believe that he should have at least level 7 spell slots, so as to have access to the Simulacrum spell. He also has a defensive force field, allowing him to become very difficult to attack, though he cannot attack while it is active.(Sanctuary)Īll of this together leads me to believe that he has at least 9 levels in Armorer Artificer his skill as an inventor, potency in combat, quality heavy armor, and great intellect all lead in that direction. (Counterspell/Dispel Magic, Shocking Grasp, Sleep) He can also suppress opponent's powers, administer a deadly shock through his armor, that ability also allowing him to knock nearby enemies unconscious. (Fly and Levitate)īeyond this, the armor also grants him superhuman strength, making him a potent hand-to-hand combatant, even keeping up with Spider-Man, though he is also very athletic and skilled in his own right, once killing a lion with his bare hands. His armor also allows him to fly, and he can levitate through the power of his mind. Secondly, his armor grants him the ability to release blasts of energy from his gauntlets. He also has sharp senses and an unassailable will, though his hubris and impatience mean he is likely not very wise. This is obviously represented by giving him a huge Intelligence score.
